My Muse

I am the proud owner of a Canadian Sporthorse mare, ‘Illusion’, show name Artistic Impression. We purchased her as a 4 year old from Clear-enk Stables in Rockwood, Ontario, Canada. She is by a dutch warmblood stallion, Ibrahem, out of a trakehner/thbd cross, by Donaufurst. ‘Donny’ was one of the most honest, gentle stallions, I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I worked at a farm where he was stood stud when he was in Canada.

Illy is blessed with show ring presence. She has an excellent work ethic, an outstanding jump, and floating movement. She also licks her lips when she sees mints coming her way.
She has been my muse for many artworks. I see a new painting or drawing in her everyday. I hope one day to bred her and can’t wait to see what beautiful offspring she produces. In the meantime, you can see her, kicking butt in the hunter ring!!
